Keeling founded his Company 1980, in the USA under the name Twelve Star Records. He changed the name in 1987, to Keeling Records & Videos, selling Records and Renting movies. In 1988, Keeling decided to preserve the Jamaican/West Indian culture on videos. His first venture was called “WHA DAT” (meaning what is that…) was one of the most popular sound in the 80’s with a DJ called Barry G. Keeling produced the first dancehall video showing the world what dancehall was at that time and still is, today. From his surprise of the success of “Wha’ Dat” Keeling focused all his time in producing videos on a larger scale, until he merged into dvd’s.

In 1991, Keeling changed his Company’s name again to Keeling Reggae Videos Distributors, at this time the Company’s catalog got larger and the Company started to distribute Nation-wide attending the VSDA conventions and distributing its products in Europe. Keeling decided to venture in DVD PRODUCTION and so in the year 2000 the Company released three (3) of its best sellers on DVD. The titles on DVD are as follows: Gal Wine, Rock Steady Reunion and Himpy Skimpy.
